This tumbler is glazed with a satin green/turquoise glaze that has spots of dark green and beige. The bottom part is the unglazed clay. This piece has been fired to 1220ºC, so it's waterproof and not porous.
Satin glazes give a more scratchy sound when you use a spoon.
